At the heart of Vizible's unique, patented IP is the concept of the "Cell" - a container for content. The Cell is the basic building block in Vizible's object-oriented assembly model (VOM) for representing media in 2D and 3D environments. The Cell simplifies the capturing, re-purposing, movement and expression of multiple forms of digital content and digital media, providing an abstraction layer for properties such as resource location (local or online), position in space, resolution level, action states, levels of detail, and metadata for searching and filtering.
Vizible's technology platform - through the Cell - enables the expression of digital content into common objects so they can be freely assembled, displayed and shared. The Cell effectively frees content from how it is displayed - like XML has freed text-based information, the Cell does the same for not only text-based information, but all forms and formats of digital content, such as websites, video, music, pictures or various other digital content formats. Cells contain not only the digital resources themselves, but also the meta information that encapsulates things like tags, links, authorship, source, visual reference and context, thereby enabling the ability to search, filter, publish and assemble content at will.
Vizible's technology turns the standard content experience into a full-screen, 3D environment that web users can personalize and directly engage with video, images, music, web pages, or any other type of personal or web content.
Vizible's technology platform was designed to leverage open standards such as, XML, JMS, RSS and SSO, and is fully scriptable via standard JavaScript and ActionScript. Leveraging open standards, and the intrinsic power of the Cell, Vizible's technology platform provides a level of dynamic content assembly, presentation and flexibility that is unprecedented in today's marketplace.
Below are two technology overview videos that capture some of the ways in which Vizible's technology can be used:
